As your trusted partner, WellSky has previously sent important information regarding electronic visit verification (EVV) requirements that went into effect on January 1, 2024. The 21st Century Cures Act mandates that all home health agencies serving Medicaid patients will be required to implement an EVV solution for in-home care services.

WellSky offers an EVV-compliant solution, WellSky Visit Verification for Home Health, for agencies in “open” states. Agencies that are in “closed” states are unable to use a third-party EVV solution, like WellSky, and must work with their state-provided system to ensure compliance.
