ON-DEMAND WEBINAR

AABB encore webinar:
Innovations across the cell therapy workflow: From apheresis to analysis

Join Accellix, WellSky, and Terumo BCT for a discussion led by Linda S. Barnes Consulting on smarter collections and real-time analytics.

As demand for cellular starting material in cell therapy grows, new approaches are emerging to improve access, efficiency, and quality in cell collection. This is an encore presentation of the standing-room-only AABB Biotherapies Pavilion open-mic panel session — brought to you in webinar format from Accellix and WellSky.

The panel discussion will highlight the following tactics:

  • Deeper cellular starting material characterization, and the need for faster, standardized immunophenotyping of leukapheresis products at the point of collection to reduce variability and provide earlier actionable insights for autologous and allogeneic cell therapy manufacturing.
  • Smarter, more predictable collections and how combining apheresis collection data with real-time cellular readouts enables mid-collection adjustments and can be applied to improving first-pass success and better aligning collection decisions with downstream manufacturing needs.
  • Seamless data integration across the cell therapies collections workflow and the demand for seamless integration across devices and software, real-time data capture without manual entry, configurable workflows for diverse sponsors, and the growing role of AI in accelerating calculations and improving data quality.

If you’re a leader at a blood collection center or a cell therapy developer and didn’t get the opportunity to attend this AABB open mic session (or hope to see it again!), register now!

Speakers include:

  • Dr. Félix A. Montero-Julian, PhD, Vice President of Scientific Affairs, Accellix
  • Jenny Sander, MA, Solutions Manager, WellSky Biotherapies
  • Trevor Smith, MS, MBA, Global Marketing, Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies
  • Linda S. Barnes, DrPH, MHA, RAC, CABP(H), Consultant, Linda Barnes Consulting

This session includes a special welcome and closing with Dr. Félix A. Montero-Julian, PhD, Vice President of Scientific Affairs, Accellix.
