Annette is a registered nurse with a master's in health care administration and has been practicing since 1990, with most of her nursing experience in the home health and hospice arenas. For over a decade, she worked with the CMS Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) where she provided reviews and education of home health and hospice documentation. Annette then began providing education regarding Medicare reimbursement issues and effective documentation strategies, assisting providers with ADRs and appeals. Today she marries together her experience in the “real world” and her inside knowledge of Medicare to ensure providers can meet the requirements of CMS and run compliant, efficient operations. She presents and consults nationally on the Conditions of Participation, (COPs), OASIS, PDGM, HIS, LCDs, and documentation and coverage for both the home health and hospice benefits. Annette holds both the Certificate for OASIS Specialist-Clinical and the Home Care Coding Specialist-Diagnosis certification.
Lisa has served as the Vice President of Strategic Alignment and Care Transformation for Bandera Healthcare, Arizona’s Ensign affiliated Market, for over 8 years. She currently supports 37 skilled nursing facility operations, five assisted living operations, five independent living operations, and a substance abuse recovery center.
Lisa is the Vice President of Post-Acute Solutions for Genesis Healthcare and has served their customers for over 32 years. She currently supports over 200 skilled nursing facilities across the country. Her focus includes technology enhancements, census and business development, intake and compliance documentation, referral response times, and more.
Sara has over 20 years of experience building cutting-edge, technology-based solutions. For the last 5 years, she has led our Guide, Connect and Insight, and Ambulatory and next generation solution suite for WellSky. She currently leads the WellSky CarePort Post-Acute Care solution suite where she is designing, innovating, and developing smarter tools for providers to better meet the needs of the industry.
