Webinar Caring Smarter

People who choose a life of caring — and the organizations and communities they serve — deserve a special kind of support.

Medicare myths & facts: What does Medicare really pay hospice providers for?

If you've ever been confused by conflicting information about “what the regulations say," then this webinar is for you! We will be busting industry-wide hospice myths, such as "Medicare says you have to have an order for hospice," or "the RN must perform a ‘recertification assessment’ (in a certain timeframe),” and more. Our myth-busting webinar will help you avoid these missteps and find out what Medicare actually reimburses hospice providers for.

Join renowned home health and hospice expert and former CMS MAC and medical review nurse, Annette Lee, RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C, Founder of Provider Insights, Inc., for an educational, back-to-the-basics webinar on Medicare reimbursement and conditions of payment for hospice. With over a decade of experience making daily decisions on payments and denials, Annette will teach you more about:

  • The tools and resources that are available to hospice providers to help them make more informed decisions around intake, admission, and recertifications
  • The situations for which Medicare denies claims and how to avoid them
  • What Medicare mandates for technical and medical necessity documentation in order to reimburse you for your hospice claim
