Linda is a licensed physical therapist and the Associate Vice President of ProMedica in Toledo, Ohio. Over the past 29 years, Linda has been in various clinical leadership roles across ProMedica’s integrated health care system. Since 2007, Linda has held administrative roles within ProMedica’s post-acute care space, including home health care, private duty, and palliative medicine. She was instrumental in the development and launch of clinical screening for the social determinants of health across the health system. For the past five years, Linda has served as the Associate Vice President of Rehab Services with administrative oversight of rehabilitation services across 11 hospitals, two IRF locations, and 25 out-patient clinics across ProMedica’s 27-county footprint in southern Michigan and northwest Ohio. Linda earned an MBA with emphasis in health care administration and a bachelor's in physical therapy from the University of Findlay.
Tonya has more than 25 years of psychiatric nursing experience, starting in the early 1990s in direct patient care and working for both non-profit and for-profit organizations. She worked in behavioral health managed care for several years where she obtained a thorough understanding of the collaborative relationship between the patient and the medical team. Tonya transitioned into the administrative side of healthcare with roles that focused on regulatory compliance, quality outcomes and nursing leadership.
April Meyers serves as the Senior Vice President of Post Acute Hospital Operations at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital and has operational oversight for all CHC's ContinueCARE long- term acute care hospitals. She also leads the consulting services provided to other long-term acute care hospitals across the nation. She serves on the National Association for Long Term Hospitals (NALTH) Board and on their Membership Committee. Prior to joining CHC in 2016, April served in many roles at Kindred Healthcare within their hospital division. She is a fellow within the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves as a young careerist mentor with the DFW ACHE chapter. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Midwestern State University and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
Carrie O’Connell is the senior director of clinical strategy at WellSky. Carrie’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in healthcare informatics spans 20+ years. Carrie’s focus includes the strategic design and direction of clinical solutions, including regulatory guidance with a strong focus on improved user experience. Currently, Carrie is actively involved in numerous industry workgroups and committees around interoperability. In addition, she has been selected as a CMS technical expert panel participant.
