On April 10, The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the Medicare hospital inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS) and long-term care hospital prospective payment system (LTCH PPS) proposed rule for fiscal year (FY) 2025. The rule will be open for public comment through June 10, 2024, and changes proposed in the rule will go into effect October 1, 2024.
