Janet LaBreck served as the Commissioner of the Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) in the Obama administration from 2013-2017. Her leadership helped maximize employment, independence, and integration into the community for individuals with disabilities across the country. LaBreck’s commitment and dedication in the field of blindness was recently honored with the dedication of the Janet L. LaBreck Center for Low Vision Rehabilitation at the New England College of Optometry.
Jimmy Wilson spent 23 years as a Chief Financial Officer for one of the nation’s leading multi-national financial service organizations before joining Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency as Chief Financial Officer, and later, Chief Operating Officer. His transformative leadership skills were crucial in mobilizing the agency to develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to assist individuals with disabilities in landing more competitive jobs.
Before joining Synergy, Mary Otiato served as Chief of Staff at the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind. She coordinated the executive team in deciding strategic policy, program and communication matters. She also directed and implemented an efficient system of control to accomplish agency operational objectives. Otiatio has an MBA in Social Policy Management from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
