Meeting new compliance standards: The application of information blocking and ADT notifications
The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) patient event notification Conditions of Participation (CoP) went into effect on May 1, 2021. Now, all inpatient behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation, and long-term acute care providers must ensure their organizations understand what needs to be included when sending and/or receiving event notifications in order to comply with the CoP. This webinar outlines different ways to manage event notifications.
In addition, this webinar will explain how the Health and Human Services (HHS) Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) for Health Information Technology (IT) information blocking rules impact day-to-day provider activities, so they are prepared to avoid potential allegations of information blocking.

These groups include LTPAC, behavioral health, emergency medical services, and more. He represents Kno2’s partners and customers at industry trade associations and actively participates in and leads other industry interoperability initiatives, including Carequality and the CommonWell Health Alliance.
