Rosa Plasencia helps states use the core indicators to assess the outcomes of services provided to local individuals and families, including service planning, rights, community inclusion, choice, health and care coordination, safety, and relationships. She previously served as the Director of LTSS Policy at ADvancing States where she worked on managed care, LTSS (long-term services and supports), ADRCs, (aging and disability resource centers) and NWD (No Wrong Door), long-term care ombudsman, quality oversight, and access to services.
Stephanie Giordano focuses on survey implementation methodology and techniques (including population-specific techniques), surveyor training, quality assurance, stakeholder engagement, and user-friendly dissemination of information. She applies these skills to both the National Core Indicators (NCI) and National Core Indicators for Aging and Disabilities (NCI-AD) projects and leads training and quality assurance activities on both ventures.
