On Friday, June 30, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) published its calendar year (CY) 2024 home health proposed rule, which would decrease Medicare fee-for-service payment rates by 2.2% and proposes a 5.63% permanent rate cut. The rule has raised provider concern and could pose a potential risk to the stability of home healthcare.
Recently, home health industry regulatory expert and advocate, Cindy Campbell, MHA-Healthcare Informatics, BSN, RN, COQS, CHHCM, presented a timely webinar that broke down the CY 2024 home health proposed rule.
