Bobby Guy believes that the uncertainty surrounding the US healthcare market presents the greatest investment opportunity in healthcare for the last half century. He is a healthcare deal lawyer, and he spends his time focused on growing, buying and selling healthcare companies. In 2016 and 2017, he led the two largest skilled nursing spinoffs in the country each year, involving more than 30 buyers in 25 states in those deals. In the post-acute and behavioral space, his team has bought and sold more than 500 healthcare facilities in the last four years.
Bobby is the host of The 10 Minute HealthBizCast, and he chairs the national Healthcare Dealmaker’s Conference in Dallas each May. He is also a frequent speaker and author on healthcare investing and healthcare-related topics. He has appeared on Fox News, and has been published or quoted in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, CNN Money, The Deal, McKnight’s Senior Living, Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions, Senior Housing News, HealthLeaders, The Journal of Corporate Renewal, and HFM, among others.
Ross Sallade provides value to clients by tackling the complex legal regulatory, operational, reimbursement and enrollment matters that others might be reluctant to handle. Ross does so by drawing upon specialized knowledge for each matter which enables him to quickly evaluate urgent issues and provide practical recommendations. He also leverages a unique skill set that enables him to identify and work with the right federal and state regulators to pinpoint the heart of the issue and make recommendations to reach appropriate resolution. His previous experience strengthens his ability to provide counsel rooted in an understanding of not only the law, but also how legal issues or regulatory changes can impact clients’ business goals.
Ross works with clients to help them navigate through the myriad of state and federal health care regulatory challenges facing them. He regularly counsels clients to aid in structuring their business transactions and relationships in compliance with federal and state regulations, including change of ownership requirements, as well as federal anti-kickback statute and federal physician self-referral (or “Stark”) laws.
Linda Murphy, RN, BSN, COS-C, CDP, RN-BC is currently the COO of Concierge Home Care, a regional home health care consortium. She has been in the healthcare arena since 1987, and her experience has spanned a variety of clinical, operational, and leadership roles. In June of 2015, Linda had the opportunity to apply her wealth of knowledge in post-acute care as the CEO of Concierge Home Care. Concierge has offices throughout Florida, and in a short 5 years has become one of the largest providers in all the areas that they service. Their reputation as innovators and delivery of quality outcomes has allowed them partnerships with all their local hospitals as preferred providers. Linda has been involved with multiple bundling projects and ACO’s and initiated several pilot programs that have yielded reduced re-hospitalization rates while optimizing symptom management. She has been published multiple times and spoken on behalf of Home Health Quality Improvements National Campaign for best practices to improve Patient Outcomes.
