Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility EMR Checklist

Choosing the right EMR for your inpatient rehabilitation facility can be an overwhelming decision. An EMR directly impacts your day-to-day operations. Your EMR should help you reduce denials, improve your scheduling process and workflow, and help you decipher important data. Essentially, your EMR directly impacts the level of care you can provide to your patients.

Asking a software vendor the right questions will help you determine if the EMR in consideration is right for your inpatient rehabilitation facility.

To help you in your decision-making process, we’ve put together a checklist that will help you evaluate the effectiveness of your current EMR provider, or providers you may be considering.

Use the checklist to:

  • Evaluate the vendor's ability to reduce denials
  • Evaluate the vendor's ability to improve your scheduling process
  • Evaluate the vendor's ability to create custom reports
