On July 31, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the much-anticipated final rule for the FY 2026 Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Prospective Payment System. The final rule includes certain changes from the proposed version.

McManus holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science and is a Senior Director of Solutions Management at WellSky. She came to WellSky after 15+ years in healthcare IT and product management. McManus has worked with providers of home health, hospice, long-term care and private duty across the country in the development and refinement of analytics to improve clinical care delivery. She has supported multiple provider case studies in hospitalization reduction, utilizing predictive analytics and proving principles, while helping providers manage increasing acuity and risk. Currently working with the WellSky Post Acute Care Facilities group, she is looking to revolutionize long-term care software with an AI-centered and data analytics-first approach.
O’Connell’s wealth of knowledge and expertise in healthcare informatics spans 20+ years. She has a passion for creating efficiencies with technology while also promoting improved clinical outcomes, which is what led her to WellSky in the first place. O’Connell’s focus includes the strategic design and direction of clinical solutions, including regulatory guidance and improved user experience. Currently, she is actively involved in numerous industry workgroups and committees around interoperability. In addition, she has been selected as a CMS technical expert panel participant. O’Connell currently serves as the co-chair for the ADVION IT committee and is a past board member.
