Webinar Caring Smarter

People who choose a life of caring — and the organizations and communities they serve — deserve a special kind of support.

Medicare myths & facts: What does Medicare really pay home health providers for?

Presented by Annette Lee, RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C, Founder, Provider Insights, Inc.

If you've ever been told that Medicare will pay your agency for a specific service only to find out that they won’t actually cover that service, or if you've ever thought an audit would go well because a patient "really needed home health," only to be told by your Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) that the services "were not medically necessary", then this webinar is for you! Find out what Medicare actually reimburses home health providers for.

Join renowned home health and hospice expert and former CMS MAC and medical review nurse, Annette Lee, RN, MS, HCS-D, COS-C, Founder of Provider Insights, Inc., for an educational, back-to-the-basics webinar on Medicare reimbursement.

With over a decade of experience making daily decisions on payments and denials, Annette will teach you more about:

  • The tools and resources that are available to home health providers to help them make more informed decisions for intake, admission, and recertifications
  • What situations Medicare denies claims for and how to avoid those
  • What Medicare actually pays home health providers for
