Webinar Caring Smarter

People who choose a life of caring — and the organizations and communities they serve — deserve a special kind of support.

The power of together: Practical strategies for efficient, effective, & engaging IDT meetings and beyond

Presented by renowned hospice physician and educator Marcia Levetown, MD, MMM, HMDC, FAAHPM

The interdisciplinary team (IDT) is fundamental to the care planning process in hospice. Yet IDT meetings are often not well-organized — resulting in wasted time, wasted cost, and lost opportunities for effective collaboration and communication. It doesn’t have to be this way!

Join us for a webinar presented by renowned hospice physician and educator Marcia Levetown, MD, MMM, HMDC, FAAHPM, as she explores the role of the IDT and provides practical strategies to improve your team’s interdisciplinary function. By reframing the IDT in innovative ways, you can ensure effective and efficient use of your team's time, while also enhancing staff well-being and resilience.

You'll learn more about:

  • Why the current IDT structure in most hospices is not always effective and efficient
  • Practical solutions to common IDT errors and inefficiencies
  • Tips for using your IDT to its fullest potential
You'll also get access to exclusive hospice IDT checklists designed to minimize additional work and maximize compliance and completeness of the medical record.
