Alan Wilson, Director of Technology Solutions at Home Helpers Home Care, has 30 years of extensive experience in the home care industry, specializing in operational efficiency, spearheading technological advancements, and ensuring seamless integration of cutting-edge solutions. Alan’s career includes 10 years with the University of Florida Shands Hospital Home Care Division, six years with the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in their private-duty division, five years with a private home care company (opening and operating agencies including personal emergency response systems (PERS) throughout many states), and 10 years with Home Helpers Home Care managing the CRM and Direct Link (PERS) units for more than 200 agencies across the nation. Alan’s multifaceted background uniquely positions him to address the diverse needs of the entire Home Helpers Franchise Network and also serve on several software advisory boards.
Dustin Distefano is a seasoned entrepreneur and the dynamic CEO of A Place at Home Senior Care, a company he co-founded in 2012 alongside his partner, Jerod Evanich. Under Dustin's visionary leadership, A Place at Home has expanded significantly through franchising and now boasts over 50 territories awarded and a network of 34 dedicated franchise owners. Dustin's journey in the home care industry is marked by hands-on experience and an intimate understanding of both the challenges and rewards of providing compassionate care. He has experience managing a vast array of family dynamics and navigating complex senior care issues with empathy and professionalism. Today, Dustin shares his wealth of knowledge on diversifying income within competitive industries, emphasizing the power of leveraging one's expertise for growth. His insights are born from a successful track record of innovative business strategies and a deep understanding of the healthcare and franchising sectors.
Kunu Kaushal is one of the latest influencers in the long-term care/healthcare space in Tennessee. He studied business management at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and then proceeded to work in multiple healthcare roles focused on delivering the highest quality of care. Passionate about impacting the healthcare space, Kunu founded a senior care agency and discovered that industry was a natural fit. With the motivation of helping his grandparents as his first clients, Kunu started Senior Solutions Home Care in 2010. Today the company provides in-home care, nutritional support, and transportation services to the entire state out of multiple offices.
