Sandra Mitchell, Senior Director of Case Management and Utilization Management, CAIPA
Sandra M. Mitchell has been a Registered Nurse for 28 years. Prior to CAIPA MSO, she was the Vice President of Medical Management for a Management Service Organization. As VP, she worked with her team to consistently meet and exceed required Key Performance Indicators while ensuring the efficient delivery of patient-centered care. She was integral to the development of the Transitions of Care program of a large New York City Health System.
Throughout her career thus far, Sandra has gained experience spanning both provider and payor environments with 25+ years in the Managed Care sector. Her primary focus includes Care and Utilization Management. She is also a proven transformational leader, showcasing outcome driven qualities by building synergistic teams and sustaining results for quality care.
Sandra holds a BSN from City University of New York – Lehman College and completed graduate studies in Organizational Leadership.
