The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards. This is done through on-site surveys.
When preparing for surveys, it is important to ensure have processes in place that allow you to demonstrate performance improvement. To do this, data must be collected and shared in a meaningful way.

Amy Sudduth is the Director of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport, LA, where her service line includes all inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services in acute care, comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation, home health, outpatient and skilled nursing. She has 31 years of healthcare experience. Amy also holds a position as a Medical Rehabilitation surveyor for the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) where during the past 11 years she has participated in surveys across the US and internationally in Norway, Sweden and China.
