Accreditation is voluntary, but it is a sign to your partners and clients that you have met the most rigorous standards in every aspect of cellular therapy, from clinical care and donor management to cell collection, processing, storage, transport, and release.  

Becoming accredited requires time, effort, and documentation, and obtaining accreditation is only the first step. You will need to maintain easily accessible records and allot appropriate time for review when it comes time for renewal.

As an epidemiologist, Jonathan Wofford has Jonathan spent more than a decade as bioinformatics lead for a major cord blood bank and blood and marrow transplant program in St. Louis and has extensive experience in hematopoietic stem cell transplant and cellular therapy. Mr. Wofford has been honored by the Center for International Blood and Marrow Transplant Research for outstanding clinical research, and has spoken before members of the United States Congress to advance the use of adult stem cells and to secure funding for the National Marrow Donor Program. He continues to serve on several industry committees working to standardize data collection and the evaluation of transplant protocols and patient outcomes.
