Webinar Caring Smarter

People who choose a life of caring — and the organizations and communities they serve — deserve a special kind of support.

Discover how the invisible tragedy of senior homelessness could impact our communities in the next decade

Recorded Wednesday, October 28 at 1 pm ET / 10 am PT

The number of seniors experiencing homelessness is expected to increase dramatically in the coming years. Without a plan to reverse this trend, state Medicaid programs, the healthcare system, and many public services could be overwhelmed.

Register for this webinar to take a deep dive into the data behind senior homelessness and the projections for what lies ahead. You will gain a deeper understanding of:

  • Projections of senior homelessness in various regions
  • The predicted costs of health services required for older homeless adults
  • Potential interventions that could offset these costs

Promising research indicates that housing and healthcare programs could mitigate the crisis and save money for states and communities. Federal and state agencies, health systems, continuums of care, area agencies on aging, and non-profits all have a role to play.
