Michael helps guide the Alzheimer's Association’s state government affairs work in 23 states. He previously served as the Senior Director of Public Policy for the Wisconsin Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, where he led the government relations and advocacy efforts on behalf of the more than 120,000 Wisconsinites living with Alzheimer’s disease as well as all related dementias and their caregivers.

MaryLea Boatwright Quinn

Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Division of Aging Services, Georgia Department of Human Services

MaryLea began her career in elder services as a medical social worker. She has worked in a variety of settings, including hospice, long-term care, adult day care, and home health. She is on the board of directors for the Georgia Gerontology Society and serves as a member of the Georgia Alzheimer’s & Related Dementias (GARD) Advisory Council and the Coalition of Advocates for Georgia’s Elderly (CO-AGE).

Dementia Team Lead, Division of Aging Services, Georgia Department of Human Services

In her role at the Division of Aging Services, Staci is building an inclusive community that supports quality of life for individuals and their care partners. She was previously the Director of Memory Care at Brookdale Senior Living and has extensive dementia care training experience. Staci also helped develop the training curriculum for the “Inspired Senior Care” program in Nevada.
