OASIS-E is coming to home health in 2023: What this means for you

Amid historic industry growth and workforce shortages, we’re inching closer to the implementation of OASIS-E on January 1, 2023. Although CMS released the draft OASIS-E guidance manual on May 16, nothing has been finalized yet. However, there are many steps agencies can take now to ensure OASIS excellence among agency staff. In this new tip sheet, you will learn helpful strategies to prepare for the transition to OASIS-E.

Jill is certified as a home care coding and OASIS specialist and is an accomplished nurse with more than 30 years of experience as a home health administrator, home health director of nursing, and nurse consultant for home health. Jill is the president of JID Consulting and Coding, LLC.
