People who choose a life of caring — and the organizations and communities they serve — deserve a special kind of support.

Evaluating your rehabilitation program:
Using the Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory for clinical evaluation and outcome management

This webinar was created in partnership with the Brain Injury Association of America

The Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory-4 (MPAI-4) is an evaluation for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI) that is typically administered after the individual is out of the hospital. This tool is critical in not only evaluating people during the post-acute period following an ABI but also helping organizations plan and evaluate the rehabilitation programs designed to serve these individuals.

In this webinar, Dr. James Malec, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, Rp discusses the clinical usages of the MPAI-4 in brain injury rehabilitation. Watch the recording to learn:

  • How the MPAI-4 was designed using modern methods for precision measurement
  • How to use the MPAI-4 in planning an individualized rehabilitation program
  • How the MPAI-4 is used for program evaluation and research
  • About secure online MPAI-4 data management and new initiatives for collaborative outcome research
