Medicare competitive bidding round 2021

On March 7, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the Medicare Competitive Bidding Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS), Competitive Bidding Program Round 2021. The new program includes several important changes that are part of CMS' ongoing process improvements. Round 2021 contracts will be effective January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2023. However, the bid window opens later this spring. Suppliers interested in participating are encouraged to learn more about the program details.

Dee Dee Welch is a Product Manager for the Homecare Solutions Group at WellSky. Dee Dee has both operational and implementation experience on multiple software platforms, as well as, taking a lead role in the rollout of CareTend. As a Prouduct Manager, she is responsible for defining, planning and managing the strategy for assigned WellSky products and related services including communication within the organization as well as with customers and partners.
Prior to joining WellSky, Dee Dee was an Implementation Manager for Fastrack Healthcare Systems, COMS Interactive and manager for Rock-Pond Solutions. In addition, she has held many roles within the provider community ranging from customer service, marketing, reimbursement manager, compliance officer and director of operations. Dee Dee has also served as a regional President for Business Professionals of American and was an active member of the Medicare Region B Provider Outreach and Advisory Group.
