Preparing for a PBM audit

Most pharmacies are dependent, to one degree or another, on pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs). PBMs have a high degree of leverage over pharmacies. They control the money that the pharmacy expects to receive. One way the PBM exercises this control is through audits. That is why it is important that the pharmacy know how to prepare for an audit.

Please enjoy this free webinar presented by Jeffrey S. Baird and Bradley Howard, attorneys with the Health Care Group of Brown & Fortunator, P.C. Tune in as Mr. Baird and Mr. Howard discuss the steps that pharmacies can take to prepare for a PBM audit.
Attend and learn:

  • Pharmacy activities that PBMs consider to be suspect.
  • Activities that are likely to trigger a PBM audit.
  • Steps that will reduce the likelihood of an audit.
  • Steps that a pharmacy can take to successfully respond to an audit.
