The federal government recently passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The economic rescue package includes $100 billion in funds intended to provide healthcare providers with greater flexibility. The Act, in addition to several blanket waivers that have relaxed existing regulations, are creating flexibility to help providers easily deliver care to those impacted by COVID-19.
While helpful, policy changes create confusion for providers, especially when those changes impact day-to-day operations.
